# Privacy Policy

*Effective November 3, 2026*

[BusyBusy][1] does not record or retain calendar event data.

## What would you say you do here?

After you grant BusyBusy access to your Google Calendar, it
identifies events selected for synchronization and creates
or updates corresponding free/busy blocks in the calendar of
your choice. It needs to process your event data to do this.

## Information handling

BusyBusy accesses calendar identifiers and the event fields
needed to determine whether an event matches your chosen
rules, when it occurs, and your availability. When it
creates events, it copies the busy time without copying
event details from one calendar to the other.

## Storage and sharing

BusyBusy does not record or retain calendar event data,
maintain a history of your events, or sell or share calendar
data. Information is handled as needed only to make changes
to your Google Calendar. On the Google side, they have
[their own privacy policy][2].

## Google API data

BusyBusy’s use and transfer of information received from
Google APIs adheres to the [Google API Services User Data
Policy][3], including the Limited Use requirements.

## Your choices

You can stop future access by revoking BusyBusy’s permission
in your [Google Account permissions][4]. Revoking this
access will prevent further calendar synchronization. You
can also remove any events it created directly in your
Google Calendar.

## Changes and contact

This policy will be updated before any changes are made to
BusyBusy's data handling practices. [Contact the project
maintainer][5] if you have any questions.
